Dissidia Final Fantasy gets limited edition PSP bundle

Sony has recently announced a brand new PlayStation Portable bundle for Square Enix's upcoming Dissidia Final Fantasy, available only via an exclusive GameStop promotion.

Dissidia Final Fantasy is one PlayStation Portable game that's rifle with special edition sets, and Sony has just announced yet another version that RPG fans are going to want. According to everyone from Silicon Era to Destructoid, Sony is throwing another PSP bundle on shelves this year with the "Limited Edition Dissidia Final Fantasy Entertainment Pack". Whew. That's a mouthful.

Dissidia Final Fantasy gets limited edition PSP bundle

More androgyny than you can shake $199.99 at, brought to you August 25th by Sony, GameStop and Square Enix.

The Dissidia bundle comes with a handful of extra goodies for new PSP gamers, including the game (of course), a "Mystic Silver" PSP-3000, the Final Fantasy VII Advent Children movie on UMD and 2 GB Memory Stick Pro Duo. Of course, with all that gravy, there's bound to be a catch somewhere. Well, for one, this Dissidia bundle is only available as a GameStop exclusive, which definitely gives some incentive to Edge Card users. Another caveat is that the PSP-3000 included in the bundle is simply a "Mystic Silver" PSP, not the super-mega-special Dissidia PSP that I'd give my left arm to have.

Still, this looks like good news for people who didn't make the preorder deadline for the Japanese-only package, since bundles like these are notorious for getting no stateside releases.

THE VERDICT by McKinley Noble McKinley Noble's Avatar Hmm. Eh, I'd buy it if that bundle came with the actual "Dissidia PSP" instead of a plain silver one. Maybe I'll shell out the cash if I can't find whatever pile of games my current PSP is rotting under.

Why even bother anymore with those rumors running rampid about the PSP losing the umd format. This is a make or break year for SONY. They are very disorganized at the moment...throwing every idea out there just to see if something sticks. Like a person firing a fire arm with no guidance.

riskbreaker

well I'd say its a nice package and way improved over the Ratchet and Clank Limited Edition, since it has a better movie a complete New game instead of an old one and the Final Fantasy Flick
So if you havent bought a PSP and wish to do this probably is the best offer since the God of War Bundle.
