Earlier today, ShackNews informed the gaming populace of even more Duke Nukem Forever leaks via French gaming news site NoFrag in the form of a whopping 27 high-resolution in-game screenshots.

Also revealed was an assortment of highly detailed character renders -- from the Duke himself to a wide array of alien enemies -- compliments of artist Mark Skelton's personal blog.

Lengthy level descriptions and plot details also emerged from NoFrag, not to mention a list of catch-phrases Duke would've spouted during battle. Take these Underwater Leech boss battle quips, for instance:

"You're not going to worm your way out of this one."
"The early bird kills the worm."
"That's one huge one eyed wonder worm."
"I love gummy worms."
"This whole thing has turned out to be one giant can of worms."

It's good to see that, even in the wake of this unfortunate event, the Duke has retained his biting sense of humor.

I am beginning to thin that all the leaked material has one particular purporse and that is to make someone interested enough to pick the game anf finish it up. I didn't play the first Duke Nukem games but more options are always a good thing.

I agree with you. But I still hope that whoever picks up the Duke francise in a fire sale starts a completely new game. They need to let the DNF joke die once and for all.

The graphics certainly look sharp. I don't get what's with all the driving though.

i think its really funny that we dont here about this game for a few years, then as soon as 3d realms announces they are shutting down we are getting all this stuff leaked about it. if anyone were to pick this game up, i would say EA...or since take 2 owned 3r realms anyway, maybe they will finish it and release. ive got a special place in my heart for duke. even tho the last few sucked, i might have to pick this one up...eventually
