TMNT Turtles in Time remake coming to Xbox Live

The popular beat-em-up arcade game, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time, is being remade with better graphics and gameplay for Xbox Live.
The greatest Ninja Turtles video game is coming to Xbox 360 looking better than ever!
Destructoid reveals that a remake of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time, arguable the best video game based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise that was originally released for Arcades and Super Nintendo, is headed to Xbox Live. The new Turtles in Time game for Xbox 360, which was spotted at the Tribeca Film Festival, has completely revamped graphics that take advantage of the next-gen console's power.
A screenshot of the game shows that the new TMNT: Turtles in Time will support both single-player, multiplayer, and online leaderboards. There's also a rumor that the game will be released on the Nintendo Wii's Virtual Console.

Turtles in Time is not only the best TMNT video game ever made, it's also one of the greatest beat-em-ups of all time. It's about 500 trillion times better than the 1989 TMNT arcade game released on Xbox Live a while back. Can't wait to get my hands on this one.

I still play this game to this day. Everytime I play my old x-box (I have all the old games installed in it) this is one of the first ones I always play. IMO it's the best beat 'em up game ever.

I always liked the original TMNT arcade game better, better music and gameplay.. didn't like the time travelling setting in Turtles in Time.. but it was still decent.

This is awesome news. I played TiT (lol) just a few weeks ago. Easily one of my favorite games growing up. Hyperstone Heist was nothing compared to TiT (lol again).

Awesome!! I never really got to play Turtles in Time but I have fond memories of playing the Hyperstone Heist on the Genesis. Can't Wait for this! It's great to be an old school gamer!

I remember when I was like 11, dark outside, I was looking for cans to take to a recycling center to get a quarter to play this. I didn't even know the location of this recycling center. That's motivation, even though I never did pick up a can.
I rather the game be like an HD remix 2D looking than 3D.
