Mickey Rourke to voice lead role in Bethesda's Rogue Warrior

Hot on the tail of his Oscar nominated work in "The Wrestler", Mickey Rourke has been tapped to play the real-life Navy SEAL and SEAL Team 6 founder Richard "Demo Dick" Marcinko in Bethesda Softworks Rogue Warrior: Black Razor

"Mickey Rourke was our first choice to play Marcinko in Rogue Warrior," said Todd Vaughn, Executive Producer of Rogue Warrior. "He absolutely, one-hundred percent captures Marcinko's raw and gritty personality."

Mickey Rourke to voice Rogue Warrior's Richard 'Demo Dick' Marcinko

Rogue Warrior: Black Razor is based on a series of New York Times bestselling novels penned by Richard Marcinko, all of which have been loosely based on his own military experiences. In the game, you are sent on a secret operation in North Korea that soon goes wrong when you uncover a conspiracy involving a new technology that could change the balance of geopolitical power.

Rogue Warrior: Black Razor will be released for the PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 in 2009.
