New device anesthetizes children while they play Game Boy

Children will now be able to get gassed with nitrous oxide and play Game Boy at the same time due to new "state of the art" medical device.

Destructoid reports that a new medical device has been created that distributes nitrous oxide to children as they play Game Boy. The way PediSedate works is it administers the sedative to young patients before they are admitted to surgery.

I'd be really annoyed knowing that I wouldn't be able to beat the level I was starting... Or even save for that matter.

I mean, I guess it's a good idea. Me, I'm a sadist at heart, so I prefer the "just stick 'em and let 'em whine for a few seconds" approach, but I can see the appeal here.

So I guess when the anesthetic kicks in 100%; they'll be in the dreamworld of whatever game their playing. In a way, that's kinda cool but wrong at the same time.

Well if it's not an April Fools joke, it really is a good idea for hospitals. It calms kids nerves and helps them fall asleep. But I dunno, it seems really odd...
