First Killzone 2 DLC pack available April 30th

Steel and Titanium, the first DLC pack available for Killzone 2, will contain two new multiplayer maps, both of which are set on moving objects.

Sony announced today that the first DLC pack for the fast-selling Killzone 2, titled Steel and Titanium, will be available for download on PSN starting April 30th.

Wasteland Bullet will place teams on a bullet train heading from Pyrrhus to the Wasteland. Sony promises Missions Impossible-esque head decapitations. The second of the two maps called Vekta Cruiser finds players on a massive ship being assaulted by Helghast troops. Protecting the mass of the cruiser is also a key element of this map.

Sorry, once I get my platinum trophy tonight...I'm done with this mess. Awesome game, but getting Platinum takes it out of you.

Sony jumping on the everything effen multiplayer bandwagon... I hate this multiplayer trend...every game every map it's all the same BS.... how about treating all of us that enjoy playing solo with some DLC.. Multiplayer has killed the single player game.. even RE is forever changed..

One play through was enough with Killzone 2 anyway.... not a heck of a lot of replay value. I'll take Resistance 2 any day of the week over this one.

Okay, it's not like I'm not gonna get this or anything; I'd gladly buy Killzone maps, but dammit can't devs start giving us NEW MODES for 1/6 of the video game price instead of just new LOCATIONS!?

The guys over at Guerrilla Games have been hyping the possibility of a co-op mode for a while now. Come on, adding co-op to KZ2 would make it even better.

You two would be part of the minority party on this one. If by "multiplayer has killed the single player game" you mean that developers are putting more time into the multiplayer potions of their games as opposed to the single player experience then you would be absolutely correct. However,multiplayer offers you what single player cannot: a living breathing opponent. Game developers can only tweak A.I. so much before hitting the limit;and if A.I. is a simulation of a human's thought process anyway,wouldn't it make much more sense to just play a human being in the 1st place?. Personally I think it's better to have the developers create levels and just set us gamers loose on them,like with Warhawk or Socom Confontation. But I share your thoughts on RE5. The multiplayer portion of that game is so "Forced" you'd think George Lucas deserves a massive royalty check lol.
