A Microsoft job posting on CareerBuilder.com reveals that the media giant is now enlisting programmers for a brand-new Halo project that embraces online social communities. Is this the Halo MMO fans have been clamoring for, one that will bring games like Halo 3 and Halo Wars to the scale of World of Warcraft? It's possible, but at this time we're as in the dark as you are.
To clarify, the mysterious new Halo game is not Halo 3: ODST, which comes out this September, but an entirely new Halo experience that you'll potentially be able to play on your iPhone, your Xbox 360, and PC.

So far I haven't been dissapointed with anything Halo so I would have to imagine that whatever happens with this is going to be epic! If its an MMORPG it will be the first that I play where I actually pay monthly........if I have to!

Hmm... well I'm not into Halo all that much but an MMO would be kind of cool. A Halo social network seems lame to me, but Mass Effect? YES PLEASE!

if anything a mass effect crossover with Master Chief would be a great action rpg. But this crop of systems blows for what I would want to see. Maybe on the Xbox 720/ Ps4000

I doubt that this would see release on iPhone, but I can't say that I'm interested either way.

If they can pull it off great. Otherwise I think they should focus on one game.
