Fatal Frame 4 is never coming to U.S. says Tecmo

Fatal Frame IV: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse will not be coming to The States.
This ghostly nurse looks sad because Fatal Frame IV won't be coming to The States.
IGN reveals that the Wii-exclusive fourth installment in Tecmo's eerie survival-horror series, Fatal Frame IV: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, the sequel to Fatal Frame III: The Tormented for PS2, will only be available in Japan.
Tecmo has issued the following statement to explain why Fatal Frame IV won't be coming to the U.S.
"Nintendo holds the publishing rights to 'Fatal Frame Wii,' which was developed by Tecmo LTD. and Grasshopper Manufacture and released in Japan on July 31, 2008. Nintendo of America has since then decided not to publish the title in North America ? consequently, the title will not be released in this territory. As the owner of the IP, Tecmo feels very unfortunate that the fans of the series in North America will not have a chance to play the game, but respects the final decision made by Nintendo of America."

That's really too bad. The Fatal Frame games have always been the scariest pieces of gaming, in my opinion, and a great experience.

I don't find Japanese movies or games scary at all, every effen movie there is always a little kid with his effen mouth open in a silent scream and everyone is always leaking black shitt from their eyes.... ink?....... Running around with a camera is not scary either... so what? I can take a dam picture of the screaming little kid with black shitt in his eyes.? Japan can have this one.

Thats funny, the same bunch of wiiboys that say its no big thing is the same bunch that was running around all happy a few months ago when they thought they were getting something good. Stick with your remakes Nintendo, thats what your loyal fan base wants.

Ah, well. I was looking forward to this game. Nintendo disappointed me on this one. I guess my Wii will be idle for a while longer then. Good thing I have a 360 and PS3 as well. =/
