Madden 10 to release August 14; Exclusive GamePro preview in June issue

Starting May 5th, read GamePro's exclusive hands-on report of Madden NFL 10 for the Wii.
This year's iteration of the Madden NFL series promises to be bigger and better than the last. Will that be the reality? Well, it's too soon to tell for sure, but EA Sports Senior Producer, Phil Frazier seems confident in the game.
"The Tiburon team couldn't be more excited about Madden NFL 10." Frazier said in the press release. "With online innovation that will connect Madden fans together like never before, an immersive broadcast presentation that captures the suspense and emotion of the NFL, and the most authentic gameplay to date, Madden NFL 10 will be the pinnacle in the award-winning franchise."
From an art standpoint, this year's Wii version is completely rebuilt from the ground up and early glimpses suggest it may be one the finest looking titles to release for the console thus far.
EA claims to be going the extra mile this year and giving players an experience where they have to "fight for every yard." What that means exactly is still unknown, but you can find out by reading GamePro's exclusive hands-on preview of Madden NFL 10 in the June 2009 issue (hits newsstand on May 5th).
The press release also mentions a draft experience.
Madden NFL 10 will kick off the season with the Madden NFL 10 Draft Experience hosted exclusively at maddennfl.easports.com on Saturday, April 25th. The innovative website will feature a live, streaming draft analysis show produced right from Madden headquarters in Orlando, Florida. The show will feature several interactive elements, including live call-ins from NFL athletes, on-site correspondents from New York City, and the chance for Madden fans to phone in with comments and questions. As players are drafted, their official Madden NFL 10 ratings will be released and discussed live. The website will also feature dynamic polls, social networking feeds, photos from the NFL Draft, and live blogs from the Madden NFL 10 player ratings team. The Madden NFL Draft Experience is a fully interactive destination for NFL and Madden fans alike.

I've been playing 08 all year, as long as I had someone online to play with, it was all good. I'm for sure gonna get this release tho, Da Bears finally got a Qb. It's over wit, my B'day is is the day after Madden comes out, it's in the game

I'm good w/ Madden 08 I got for like 4$ & change- new (360). I feel sorry for the idiots that waste 60$ on Madden games, year after year. Wait a year or 2 and enjoy the discount! ...Remember back a few years when 2K sports was still in the mix and their new titles were just 20 ? NFL 2K5 is still loved.

2k5 is the best. EA had to shut it down because they couldn't hang.

Tend to agree...NFL 2K5 was a very solid game, it was a shame for all gamers when the competition got bought out.

well u guys are pretty happy for this game to come out. me on the other hand is very dissapointed. reason being i own a wii. for the longest time i have been lying to myself and sayin that nintendo is still making games for true gamers and they are all not for lil kids. but when madden 08 and 09 came out for the system i was highly dissapointed because they made a mode, where people who suck can actually play. I still hung tough and was like its cool, hey if ppl who are str8 trash still want to get beat even with the computers help then let them. But today I went to get my first look at Madden 10 for the wii and I know for a fact that Nintendo does not care at all about true gamers anymore. I am going to be getting a 360 now so I can actually play some games with good graphics and gameplay. Honestly f**k Nintendo and the wii.
