New Jak & Daxter game coming to PSP & PS2

The dynamic platforming duo will return this year, as Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier will be coming to the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable.
It's been almost five years since we've seen the last "true" Jak and Daxter game with Jak 3, but the PlayStation 2's dearest platforming duo will finally return later this year with the PS2-PSP bound sequel, Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier. Sony revealed the game on their PlayStation Blog earlier today, strongly emphasising that this is not an April Fools joke. The information about the game itself thus far comes from the brief PlayStation Blog entry, stating "The Lost Frontier takes the intrepid pair all the way to the edge of the world. There they must battle their way past air pirates and sinister creatures in their quest to find a cure for the world?s eco shortage."
Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier is being developed by High Impact Games, the team that developed the last two portable Ratchet and Clank games, Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters, and Secret Agent Clank. The original developers of all of the previous Jak and Daxter console titles, Naughty Dog, will be taking less of a role in the upcoming game with their development plate full of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves at the moment. We'll keep you up to date on both of the promising platformers over the next few months.
I should be pissed that we still haven't got a PS3 Jak and Daxter game yet, but we've got Naughty Dog working on Uncharted 2 and this game looks cool too, so I can wait a bit.

Absolutely right Goldenthalegend.
This game looks horrible. I 've been waiting for this day forever. I don't have a ps3, but I have a ps2, but i'm so mad because I want a good game not some stupid new old looking ps2 game. The new developers are making this look like a ratchet game and jak looks a lot different.
THIS SUCKS FOR ALL JAK AND DAXTER FANS!

The graphics look horrible, and whats with the robots? Where did the metal heads or the pointy eared faggets in the power suits go?

This news doesnt really affect me because i was never a fan of Jak and Daxter, or i never played them actually. But i did play Uncharted and i agree with Dave Rudden, at least Naughty Dog is coming out with one good game this year. If they wanted a better reaction they should've made this one the ps3.

wtf......i dont care about the graphics...but the game doesnt look anything like a jak and daxter game.....and i would only buy a jak and daxter game that was developed by Naughty Dog......i feel that something bad is gonna happen.... a sad day for us Jak and Daxter fans

YOU'RE ALL IDIOTS. THIS IS THE BEST SERIES EVER. Even better for those of us who can't shell out $400 dollars on a PS3 and then another $60 on the game. I'd rather Naughty Dog be working on it, so I'll agree with you there, but the PS2 games were still amazing. But just because everyone's so obsessed with hi-def doesn't mean this game is going to suck. YOU, THE NAY-SAYERS, SUCK! SUCK I SAY!
