New PixelJunk game coming to GDC 2009

Sony will unveil the fourth installment of the PixelJunk series at the 2009 Game Developers Conference according to a schedule of events for Sony's PlayStation Blog Lounge.
Q Games, the creator of downloadable PS3 games PixelJunk Racers, PixelJunk Monsters, and PixelJunk Eden, will be introducing a fourth game in the PixelJunk series at Sony's PlayStation Blog Lounge. The game is expected to be playable along with a selection of other upcoming PSN games such as Fat Princess and Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic.
The PixelJunk series has gained a reputation for melding across many gameplay styles: PixelJunk Monsters is a tower defense game, PixelJunk Eden is a bizarre platform-jumping game, with PixelJunk Racers being an unusual fusion of puzzle game, party game, and racing game.
Beyond downloadable PSN games, next week's GDC 2009 should shed quite a bit of new light on Sony's plans for the PlayStation 3 and PSP 2009 lineup, so be sure to come back to GamePro.com next week to learn all the precious details.
I do love me some PixelJunk Monsters -- it's one of the best downloadable games I've ever played. Eden was pretty damned great, too. Anyone else play these?

I played the demo's for both, I thought monster's was really weird... But eden look's like a possible download.

As simple as the premise for Monsters is, set up defense for homebase, it is a game that requires fast thinking and strategy. It is a simple looking game but it is not a simple game. I love and hate this game!

I wasn't a fan of the first one. If they are going to introduce anything, how about a price cut?

I know lots of people like their games, but so far, I really dont' like what they've done... There are even a few WiiWare games that blow them away, like World of Goo and Lost Winds. My favorite downloadable game for PS3 so far is PAIN... also like the Bionic Commando remake. Not a fan of pixel junk at all...

Play PixelJunk Monsters with two-player (you need two controllers) -- that'll get you hooked in a hurry!

Tried 2 player Monsters, didn't like it. I can understand how some people can like it, it's far from horrible... just not my cup-o-tea I guess.

Pixel junk monsters is soo sick. The two player is intense and addicting. Ive never played eden though..

Best downloadable game IMO is Flower.
I did played Eden demo, it was pretty fun and weird.
