Rumor: Metal Gear 5 to be announced by May

There's been plenty of talk and speculation about the next Metal Gear, whether or not Snake will be in it or if it even exists at all.
Well those questions will supposedly be answered in the coming months, as the latest issue of PlayStation: The Official Magazine reportedly claims that Metal Gear 5 will be announced in April or May.
Konami definitely isn't going to stop with its huge franchise any time soon, and as long as they that can keep the quality consistent, why not?
It's rumored that Kojima won't be directing this new installment, but will still be involved. That's fine by me, as the man deserves a break and I'm excited to see any new IPs he has up his sleeve.

It took Metal Gear Solid 4 six months and a trip to the value bin to crack a million sales. This time with the state the economy is in it may not even do that!! So go ahead Konami make your flagship title a PS3 exclusive and watch it become just another Heavenly Sword.

I don't care,I have real games to play like Gears Of War 2......,MGS4,KillZone2 and Resistance 2 won't beat even Halo sales!like this fella said,the rest of the gaming community(THE REAL ONE)won't even care!

The "real" gameing community grew up playing mgs and super mario.. the "halo" gamers are the teens that started gameing last gen or this gen...I wouldnt even put you in either one of those categories.. i'd put you in the fanbitch isle ....

I wonder how many copies has Gears Of War(MGS4,Killerzone 2,resistance 2 KILLER!!!!) sold worldwide..perhaps almost 5 million copies,but how about Halo????8.1 million copies,uuuuuuuuhhhh,damn!!that had to hurts!!
