Even with all the strict security procedures, the event was eventually quarantined, meaning that no one could leave the tent with they were infected with the T-Virus. That meant the Resident Evil 5 development team was trapped inside with us, and they were quickly mobbed for autographs. The HORROR.
RE5 producer Jun Takeuchi, along with the rest of the RE5 development team, take their bows from a thankful crowd.
And the team also teased us with their awesome one-of-a-kind Resident Evil 5 B.S.A.A. jackets. WE WANT!
Masachika Kawata, producer of the newly announced Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, takes the stage and makes our mouths water wth promises of Wii goodness.
By 10 o' clock, every gaming station in the tent was manned by couples playing RE5's co-op modes.
There were lots of antidote pills on hand for contest entrants -- some people won RE5 production props and special Capcom collectors gear. We wanted a B.S.A.A. jacket, but alas!

I showed up at my Game Stop at 11:56 PM. It was pretty quiet but there were about 50+ people there.

no you cant move while shooting :( the controls are still clunky as fuk..im kinda disappointed..but i still like the game overall...comon Capcom..still havin to press X to run?..-sigh-

yes clunky is a good description. i have the 360 version as of 2 hrs ago... looks great though.

yes the controls were clunky, but i think thats better then trying something new, capcom doesn't know what we're thinking. Besides im fine with the clustered gameplay adds to the tension and phobia moments, but if you guys are sick of the RE4 controls then thats not my problem. Ill tell ya this though, the story for RE5 is probably the best in the series!

you dont have to press X to run. just click down on on the left analog stick and you run.
