Resident Evil 5's PS3 Collectors Edition package shows that Capcom's really looking out for fans that spend an extra $30 to pick up their in-house titles. GamePro's mailbox was just infected with a curious package from Tricell, and we wasted no time in cracking it open. Be warned, there's a lot of stuff to see, plus some pictures of Resident Evil 5's "Declassified" Field Guide!

The RE5 Collector's box is huge, and the first thing you'll likely pull out is the awesome metallic case, complete with a disc full of bonus material.

RE5's Collectors Edition also come with this awesome Tricell knapsack, complete with a full 'Progenitor Virus Detection Kit'. Y'know, for the coming zombie apocalypse.

as much as I love Resident Evil games, I'm not going to waste $30 to buy the collectors edition. Any colectors edition is a waste of money, they always come with pointless crap you're never going to use

I'm a sucker for bonus collector's extra useless crap... but usually for movies. The only collector's edition game I have is Resistance 2, and the little Chimera action figure guards my PS3. Not sure if this one is worth the extra dough.
