Halo 3: More than one billion served

Possibly the gaming milestone to crush all milestones.
Bungie recently tallied up the number of matches played and the total play time for them and the results are astounding.
The billionth game of Halo 3 was played last Saturday. Bungie then calculated the play time of every online match - not counting custom maps - amounting to 64,000 years.

Let's see if killzone2 get's to this. I don't care about the fanboy crap but like I said, to put any game EVER over Halo in multiplayer is just retarded.

You kinda have a point imagine if all those people took all that time and put it towards finding a cure for cancer, or aids, or even trying to make cars that don't use gas, the things we could do.

and that's only counting the people who played online. imagine all the offline lan parties and the events for MLG. man that would atleast add another 1000 years to that total
