SIlent Hill remake coming to Wii?

A new report suggests that Climax Studios is developing a full-blown remake of the original Silent Hill video game for Wii and PSP. Motion controls for wielding the game's fiery torch are also noted.
VG247 reports that a remake of the original Silent Hill video game is coming to the Nintendo Wii and Sony PSP. In the article, it's suggested that UK-based developer Climax, who made Silent Hill: Origins for PlayStation 2 and PSP, is working on recreating Konami's survival-horror classic.
Though the news about a Silent Hill remake remains a rumor at this time, in the report it's said that Konami has "declined to comment" and that Wii motion controls are going to be used for the new SH game's torch.
The last game in the Silent Hill series, Silent Hill: Homecoming for PS3 and Xbox 360 was released last year and received mixed reviews from critics. GamePro reviewer Cameron Lewis gave the game a 3 out of 5 star rating, siting the game's "weak combat system" and "predictable story" being some of its downfalls.
In addition to developing Silent Hill: Origins, Climax has also worked on several games in the MotoGP racing series.
I don't mean to be a party pooper but how exactly are they going to make better graphics than this?

Nice caption there PARTY POOPER... you know the Wii can do better than that! Stop hating! RE4 looked WAY better than that screenshot, and it was on GC. We know the system is capable of great graphics (Metroid 3, Galaxy) so it's up to the devs to put some effort into this port. If it controls anything like RE4, we might have a great title coming to Wii.

i dont really care for a wii remake but ill deff play it on the psp...thats all i ever wanted on the psp , portable survival horror...i check the garbage ps store every thursday hoping they they let out anything survival horror that i can play on my psp but every thursday im dissapointed...im still hoping they let out the resident evils before re5 comes out..i mean come on there out in japan...give me anything resident evil ,silent hill ,clock tower, even dino crises...lets go sony cater to america alittle bit!!!

Statements like this one make me wanna punch the gamepros at least one time in the head. Stop being petit sissy girls!!!! Resident Evil 4... Every game should look as good as this game, or better. SO SHUT UP PATTY SHOW!!!!
