Michael Jackson's arcade collection is a gamer's paradise

The King of Pop is auctioning off his entire arcade collection, many of which are classic and/or rare arcade cabinets and pinball machines.

Michael Jackson's arcade collection is a gamer's paradise

He may be strange, but the man(?) has good taste in games.

From Guitar Freaks and Tekken 2 (shown above) to Crazy Taxi, Darkstalkers and over 200 more, Michael Jackson was an avid arcade game collector... was being the operative word here. M.J. is currently auctioning off his entire arcade collection, which consists of classic pinball machines, a plethora of video game arcade cabinets and all sorts of wacky games you'd never find in arcades nowadays.

The auction is being handled by Julian's Auctions, and will commence on April 24th. Take a look at the selection; you may be surprised at how low some of the prices are. Have at 'em!

THE VERDICT by Andy Burt Andy Burt's Avatar What I wouldn't do for a chance to play all these games... no, wait, don't get the wrong idea. But seriously, some of the prices they're asking are pretty awesome. The exception is Pony Ride. $2,500 for something I pay 25 cents for at the supermarket? Every day? No thanks.

I bet Micheal has fond memories of Bubbles the Chimp on Pony Ride with ass-less leather chaps!

WHOA!!!! If only I was THAT lucky! Tell me all the collections that people make but make this as the top of my favourite list anyday! I wish I had THAT now because then I would say,"NOW I can die happy!"

What I want to know is how does the greatest dancer ever not have his own game - Michael Jackson's Moonwalker - in his collection.

Creepy. I know that when I was a little kid that would have been a paradise. It's a shame that now they would just be a bunch of arcades to me.

Some awesome games here. Oh man, I wish I could afford my own arcade. Even if I had just 5 of the best titles from the 90's. Looks like he hasn't bought anything new for a while here, a lot of the 90's stuff. Is he so broke he has to sell this stuff? Because honestly, what's 20,000 bucks when you have the debt he has?

It's likely just not going to be auctioned -- poor Michael's probably going to be buried with it.

Was there even a Moonwalker arcade machine?

Yeah, and it actually was a pretty cool game
