Microsoft explains Halo 3: ODST name change

I wasn't thrilled with the name change on Bungie's upcoming Halo 3 expansion. And reading through gaming sites, it became clear that I wasn't the only one. Microsoft Game Studios product manager Ryan Crosby recently explained why the change was made.
"We've changed the name because we feel that it is a more accurate reflection of the game experience. The ODSTs play a pivotal role in the human-Covenant struggle, and we want to make sure that everyone understands that you play as a member of this elite unit. While Halo 3: ODST is an extension of Halo 3, playing as an ODST makes this experience quite different from others within the Halo universe."While I understand where they're coming from, the word "recon" had such a presence in Halo 3, and ODST just doesn't have that presence.

People will complain about anything. What does it matter if Recon part of the name or not? The actual game is what matters in the end anyway.

I wonder if they'll use the same engine of Halo 3, because after looking at some shooters released these last few months it looks dated.

Wasn't "Revolution" just a rumor?
Revolution was it's code name and was all but official until Nintendo said "Revolution is too difficult for every country to pronounce". WTF?? Anyway, Recon was a better name but as long as the game is fun I really won't care.

Actually Revolution was the project name I believe.
