Mirror's Edge plays great in 2D

EA and Borne Games unveil Mirror's Edge 2D. The big surprise? It's really, really fun.

Mirror's Edge plays great in 2D

A faithful representation of Faith from Mirror's Edge (hehehe)

Today EA released the public beta of Mirror's Edge 2D. The game itself plays very similar to its next-gen counterpart, with extremely fast running and jumping sections, briefcase-collecting and a world that is true to the original.

Though the game is currently in beta, it already plays like a finished version. Three levels are currently available, as well as a time trial mode. If I've been gushing a bit in this post, it's because I wasted quite a bit of time playing it when I should've been working. What do you think? Click the link below to give Mirror's Edge 2D a test drive.

I just played it and it is a copy of a cellphone game called "Playman Extreme Running", wich is very fun.
