Mass Effect 2 among EA sequel announcements

Mass Effect 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 are confirmed, releases scheduled for early 2010.
Though we're only a little over a month into 2009 with many more games to come this year, two that won't hit until early 2010 are Mass Effect 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2, both confirmed by EA today. John Riccitiello of EA has stated that Mass Effect 2 will arrive on "multiple platforms" and that BF:BC will arrive in the first few months of 2010.
This is the second time Mass Effect 2 has been mentioned this year already, so with any luck we'll have more news after its appearance at GDC in March, and possibly some juicy new relationship details.

I think I speak for all of the GamePro staff when I say that the words "alien" and "boobies" will be on our minds again for a long, long time. Damn you Mass Effect and your sultry ways.

Dude, it says multiple consoles. What, is it gonna be on the 360 and the DS or something?

It could be 360 and PC which is more likely for a high graphics game. Just like gears people assume multi meant PS3 and it didn't! It meant PC. Why wait for a inferior PS3 version? Just get a xbox360 and become a true gamer ( ALL the best games! ) Not a true fantoy!

Nooooo, why did Bioware have to get eaten up by EA? IF it were just Bioware it would be 360 only.
For those saying about it going to PC as the other platform, get real. Most 360 only games seem to always end up on the PC so you should not consider the PC as another platform as it is basically a 360 on steroids.

I don't know how good Mass Effect 2 will fly with all those famous PS3 framerate hiccups. I guess it's better to have a crappy version then nothing at all. So I guess it's good for all those people that punish themselves by only owning a PS3.
Not to worry though guys, ...I'm sure Sony will be around in one form or another in 2010, I'll keep my fingers crossed.
