Sega announces Iron Man 2, coming 2010

Despite mediocre reviews, not to mention the lack of production on a second film, Sega today announced an "entirely new" Iron Man 2 for multiple systems.
BUSINESS WIRE -- SEGA of America, Inc. and SEGA of Europe Ltd today announced a continuation of their existing partnership with Marvel Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE:MVL) to include Iron Man 2, the video game. The multi-platform title is slated to come out in 2010 along with the Marvel Studios film of the same name, a sequel to the 2008 box office triumph distributed by Paramount Pictures.
"We are thrilled to build on the success of the Iron Man phenomenon and work with Marvel and Paramount on another epic project," says Simon Jeffery, President of SEGA of America, Inc. "SEGA and Marvel are collaborating closely to ensure we deliver an authentic Iron Man experience."
The game is currently in production at SEGA Studios San Francisco. SEGA has continued to refine its game engine so that players can expect an entirely new and enhanced gameplay experience. Stay tuned for more information about Iron Man 2, the video game.

I have Iron Man for the 360 and its just not playable. I'll pass on the next game unless its a major improvement.

Hopefully they will release the game that should have been made the first time. To bad they shot themselves in the foot with the crap that shipped last year.

I was hoping they would let anthor company handle it after the crap Sega put out. That was the only game on 360 besides Perfect Dark that I traded in at GameStop ($10 for a $60 game go figure) it was just one of the biggest mess I ever played. I honestly don't don't the media was hard enough on Sega for making such a horrible game.

That's not a bad idea! Maybe they could do the Iron Man flight fighting like Ace Combat series. Anything is better than the current build of IM.
