Fallout 3: Operation Anchorage is now available to download and play exclusively on the Xbox 360 and PC for 800
. Once the Operation Anchorage DLC is downloaded, look for the "Operation Distress Signal" to find the new content. Fallout 3: Operation Anchorage is a virtual reality military simulation that focuses on a pivotal event before the Great War took place in Alaska. Operation Anchorage contains several new quests, new items, a new perk, and four new achievements to unlock.
Stay tuned to GameProArcade.com and GamePro.com for the Fallout 3: Operation Anchorage review. Please take note, as I've had plenty of people ask me already, that Operation Anchorage does not increase the player level cap. The level cap increase to 30 is planned for the next Fallout 3 expansion called Broken Steel, which is scheduled for a March release.

This is BS!!! I want it on my PS3! Exclusivity sucks... did MS really pay more for exclusivity than what the PS3 sales profits would be? Isn't this game of the year... You'd think it's a popular game for both consoles no? Damn it!

Fallout 3 sucks, the worst third person controls ever, the game is slow as a retard, i dont understand all this stupid hype about a game that baiscally beisdes being huge it basically SUCKS!!!!!!Well, maybe you just don't get it. It is after all 2008 game of the year. There's a lot of exploring, different ways to level up... and VATS is the greatest thing to hit a shooter in a long time, IMO. Who the hell plays Fallout 3 in 3rd person anyway, keep it 1st person DUH! It's a first person RPG, not really a shooter in the traditional sense.

Its not a real shooter. I can see how shooter fans might not like it. VATS should not be a shooter staple, because it turns shooting into a rpg turn based type thing. If you went into the game as a fan of shooters, than you would probably be disapointed. The straight shooting is not so great because most of the game's weapons are very innaccurate and its hard to fire and maintain cover. Also, I get that early in the game, the size and depth of the world can be overwhelming and before your character is leveled up, you'll get your ass handed to you in the majority of the game's locations. At first, I hated this game, I didn't want to wander the wasteland, but after getting some momentum and leveling up, the game quickly becomes an addiction and you ignore the fact that its not really a shooter and get drawn into the game's world. After hating it at first, I have come to love the game now.

Yeah... you're right... VATS would suck in a traditional shooter game... but it's great for this game though!

without fanboy trash, can someone explain to me why both fallout 3 and GTA IV have dlc coming out exclusive to 360? I have a 360 myself, but I'm just curious.
