NEW 80GB PS3s selling for only $350 on Amazon today

Today only, high-end PlayStation 3 consoles are being sold on Amazon.com for $50 less than the retail price.

Kotaku reports that today you can purchase a 80GB PlayStation 3 video game console for only $349.98 on Amazon.com, which is $50 less than this high-end version of the next-gen platform normally costs. The discounted PS3s are part of Amazon's Deal of the Day promotion which ends as soon as supplies run out.

The 80 GB PS3s sold today come with everything normally sold with the console, including:

  • 80 GB of hard disk storage
  • Dualshock 3 wireless controller
  • Built-in Blu-ray player
  • Internet ready Wi-Fi

    This isn't a deal at all! First off, if you get a Playstation Credit Card you can get $150 off the regular price. Second, Dell has been selling these for $316 off and on for a few weeks now! And finally, there has already been a confirmed $100 price drop coming in March or May for the PS3.

    There's NO confirmed PS3 price drop. :) We all think it will probably happen soon, but Sony has not breathed a word of this.

    Sony definitely needs a cut soon. I'm think 299 is a good price for the low end model even if they cut the space down some.
