The Conduit has come a long way, baby

One of three "hardcore" Wii games to be published by Sega, The Conduit is looking really good for the system that rarely impresses the eyes.

The Conduit's an unusual game in that High Voltage was showing off footage of it in public way before most developers would want to, thanks to the game's unusual birth as a project without a publisher. Over the weekend, High Voltage released a new "Improvement Trailer" to make everyone appreciate just how far the game has come in terms of visual polish.

How far is "a really long way"-- The Conduit, at this point, looks better to me than a lot of your earlier and lower-budget Xbox 360 stuff. I've sat here for about ten minutes thinking it over, and I'm not sure I can think of an already-released Wii game that looks better than The Conduit besides maybe Super Mario Galaxy. That seems kind of wrong, somehow.

Can you think of a Wii game on the market that looks better than The Conduit?

metroid prime 3 looks as good, if not better than the conduit. this is shaping up 2 be a must have title. oh yeah, 1st comment-nerds!!!

I agree dufawn... Metroid Prime 3 looks great... I always thought it looked better than Mario Galaxy. MP3 is the best looking game on Wii... not sure if The Conduit will actually look better, but it does look pretty good too. Can't wait for this one...

Little by little the Conduit is looking better and better (for a Wii game that is). Definitely getting it.

I never played any MP so I can't make the comparison but this one is looking very impressive indeed. I will be sure to pick it up provided that the game is also fun.

Looks good, the biggest issue for me is always the gameplay though.. hopefully it plays as good as it's looking.

glad to see that sega is giving the wii a set of balls it so desprately needs. If the Conduit had come out on the 360, people would say, " great another FPS." But it found its home on the Wii, might be good , might not. This is not saying tha the wii will not have its loads of shit game, more shit games than both PS3 and 360 combined but atleast its a bright spot in the wiis library.

After looking at the trailer, I really don't thin it is going to be anything but an average FPS . It looks good for a wii game but thats about it. Metroid Prime 3 should be alot better than this game, you can bet on it.
