Worst voice acting ever?

It takes really bad voice acting to ruin a video game cutscene, but this little gem someone forwarded to us from GameTrailers is just downright hilarious.

Oh man. Final Fantasy X did have some really bad (but laughable) voice acting. I mean, really, really bad. The only thing missing from this compilation video is, oh, everything from the Shenmue series. Facepalm.

THE VERDICT by Blake Snow Blake Snow's Avatar Embarrassing dialog has long been a thorn in my gaming side. If you can't tell a convincing story, just use an introductory text screen and wield me into the action. Am I wrong?

I remember the bad voice acting in Shenmue like if I just heard it yesterday! I remember playing it on the Dreamcast , walking around town and thinking this is amazing! Walk up to some random kid on the street and he says this, " Hey mister, you wanna wrestle?" I still laugh every time I think about that creepy ass little kid.

In other words take the Metroid cut scenes, they're great, now imagine some random asshole injecting his lame lines into the cut scene. It would lose something.

Wow, posted something, then decided to post something more, and it deleted my 1st post. That is so irritating. To keep it quick I said that to me the best cut scenes are the one with no voices, like Metroid and even Sonic & Knuckles. That actions expresses a point much better than words since words have somewhat different meaning to each individual. And that dialogue is like watching the home movies of whatever random person got to write it. I've always thought of Resident Evil as having horrible jokes and terrible voice acting. Even Resident Evil 4 has some bad cheesy moments, but it still kicks major ass.

Final Fantasy X seemed great compared to some of the other videos.

All the more reason as to why dialogue should be read and not spoken in games.
