Metal Gear Solid 4 Wins PlayStation Gold Award

The biggest PS3 exclusive is always the biggest seller for Sony this year.
Gold baby. Booya!
Sony Computer Entertainment Japan gives out Gold awards during their annual award show to games that have sold over half a million copies over the last year. Despite being out for less than six months, you better believe that Solid Snake was among those that won the award.
Yes, Metal Gear Soild 4 took home the gold, as did Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, and Phantasy Star Portable. Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G was given a Platinum award for selling over two million copies.
Good job Snake, you've done us proud! I just hope this isn't the last we see of you.

MGS4 is one of my favorite games of all time. I'm a huge Metal Gear fan and after I completed the game, well... I creamed myself. The ending was EPIC!

Great game.
One of the things that really standout about Metal Gear Solid 4 was the use of cut scenes to tell the story.
Snakes sendoff was golden.

thats good. despite all the fanboy haters, MGS4 is a excellent game/cinematic experience......and i know these types of games aren't for everyone but ive always dug these. games like the MGS series, Shenmue 1 and 2.....these don't come along too often, but when they do and they are done right.....its a priceless gaming experience for fans of this game type. Honda_boy......nevermind.....idiots like you are a dime a dozen.
