Mirror's Edge DLC looks better than actual game

New time trial stages take parkour to the next level in massive free-floating environments, and PS3 owners get a little extra treat.

Fans of the mind-bending Mirror's Edge will get a post-Christmas treat this January in the form of 7 time-trial maps, and one additional map that will be exclusive to PS3 and offered for free through PSN. EA assures that the time-trial maps will put your free-running skills to the test.

"Players will be challenged to achieve the fastest times possible on nine races across seven all-new and totally redesigned Time Trial maps. No guns, no cops, and no city: this is true aesthetics, agility and flow that will challenge any runner."

For those gamers who enjoyed the parkour aspect of Mirror's Edge but felt underwhelmed by the combat or storyline, this DLC pack should be at the top of your post-Christmas shopping list.

I'm in NO WAY saying they copied Mario.... but those look like Bowser levels... which are awesome! Seems like a great addition to the game!

I was thinking the same thing, the Bowser levels from Mario 64 were a defining moment for platformers.

Some of the levels in Galaxy reminded me a lot of the Bowser levels in SM 64.

I would gladly give this exclusive content to XBox if the PS3 could get DLC for Fallout 3. The fact that I don't own Mirror's Edge and that I allready finished Fallout 3 might have something to do with it though...

Did they say free??? I'll believe it when I see it. I wish all developers and company stop milking their games putting out incomplete games, charging us $60 and then have the balls to charge you for additional DL stuff that should have been in the game in the first place.
