Report: Cliff Bleszinski's next a survival horror game

As Gears of War 2 launches today, EGM is reporting that designer Cliff Bleszinski is working on a multi-platform survival horror game.
Bleszinski has a quoted fondness for survival horror, namely Resident Evil 4
It might not be a surprise given Bleszinski's previous praise for Resident Evil 4, but EGM's rumor persona, the Q-man, is fueling wild imagination without naming sources that Bleszinski's next is a survival horror game.
"Though we don't have a name or any solid details yet, Quartermann reports that the new title will mix the bloody visceral elements of Gears of War with psychological terror," the article maintains. "And even more interesting, this one may be multi-platform."
But even though Bleszinski has an affinity for survival horror, "a rumor reported in EGM is just as likely to be true as it is to be false," a 2007 GameDaily study found.
For the sake of survival horror and Gears fans, here's hoping this coin toss is on the money.

Gears is a survival horror game! There were moments of terror in the first Gears game. The Berzerker level was a shot of terror. here's hoping that when he is done with the Gears series, we get a survival horror game as good as Gears

Is RE4 even considered survival horror anymore? Either way it was a truly great game and Cliffy B can make a great game in the RE4

Nice to see it's going to be multiplatform... unless they mean Xbox360 and PC. I haven't tried or even seen Gears, but I'm sure it's amazing...

Dude you are really missing out find a way to play it. IMO it's one of the best games ever made.

Yeah Slick, I'm sure I'm missing out, but I wanted to stay away from Xbox360 because of the hardware, plus all my friends have PS3s so we can borrow games and play online. I also have a Wii, so I don't wanna get a 3rd console for 2-3 games.

Yeah I know what you mean I'm honestly on 360 number six right now I got it when it first came out so everytime I sent one back because of the RROD I got anthor one with the same problem. They are getting really cheap now I actually seen some on amazon for like $120 it's a great system if you ever have some extra cash (with the way the economy is who does) I recomend you get it and Gears of War.
