Metal Gear Solid 4 demo arrives on PS3

Konami today announced a free demo for Snake's latest PS3 adventure, available immediately for download.
Five months since the full game's launch in June, the demo is available now on the PlayStation Network. Since its release, Metal Gear Solid 4 has sold more than 4 million copies, according to Konami. GamePro awarded the game five stars and an "editor's choice" rating.
Anyone who passed the game the first time willing to give it for a test drive now? Well go on, try it! You heard us. Shoo!

why the hell do they release a demo MONTHS after the game comes out? Uncharted, Warhawk, and now this?

Probably because sales are starting to slow down, they release a demo to spark interest again.. plus the market is flooded with great games at the moment even a game like MGS4 can go unnoticed.

I'm gonna check it out to see what the fuss is about. Hopefully the game will be as fun as everyone says it is. Honestly i don't get bothered by long cut scenes, as long as they are interesting, i just want to see if this is fun or not.

Uncharted??,. it's demo came out B4 the game. As for MGS4 they said there would be no demo i guess they obviously changed their mind go Ask Konami!

Bloody hell,a demo???Are you kidding me?What's wrong with MGS4?Since its 2006 debut, the PlayStation 3 has sold 16.84 million units but They sold only 4 million copies.....again,You have to be kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

at least Sony saw something good....,I don't know what but you know,sony sales worldwide are below M$ 360 sales,will Gears of War 2 outsell MGS4,R2.....?

I don't get Sony after having the most succesful systems probably ever with the PS2 you'd think they would've killed the competition this console generation but it's dumb moves like this that keep them from being #1. It's seems like Sony is intent on beating themselves (make your own joke if you want) this generation which makes no sense to me. The reason why so many people like Sony is because in the past they always seemed to care more about the gamers than the other companies but I think they let their egos get to them and that's the reason why they're sitting at #3 right now.
