Getting both RFOM2 and GoW2 but will get Gears 2 first. Circuit City is offering a 1600 point MS card with the purchase of Gears 2. Not a bad offer.

Pretty sure both of them are going to stick to what worked in the first games and add a little more to change it up. RFOM2 better graphics and more inner city battles. GoW2 more enemies on screen but both will play pretty much the same. Can't wait!!!!!

Thanks for that info, looks like I will be buying Gears 2 from Circuit City, I will have R2 by midnight. Since one is a FPS and one is a 3rd PS... no harm. They both will be good, but I expect much more gameplay out of R2 according to the descriptions given on both games.

That is what I have heard. Folks with hacked 360s have already finished the game, and they are calling it Gears 1.5 and Gears 1.75. But, if you love Gears (like many people do) then I doubt there will be an issue buying this game. The 360 hasn't had much by the way of a great exclusive besides Fable 2 IMO... but I surprisingly found that some folks aren't as much a fan of Fable 2 as I am. Oh well, I am still buying Gears 2, but mainly for the campaign, i don't care for the online gaming portion of it... R2 kills it in that department.

The people who have said its Gears 1.5 are the same ones bashing it. Go figure. \

All the reviews so far say otherwise as it being just Gears 1.5. 95% over all so far.
Goes to show you: don't listen too much to Sony fanboys Art when they talk about a Xbox360 game. Same goes for Xbo360 fanboys talking about PS3 games. You dont exactly get a unbiased point of view.
As for multiplay being better on RFOM, that's opinion.
