Disaster: Day of Crisis is not worth $50, Reggie says

Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime really doesn't like Wii survival title Disaster: Day of Crisis.
Hmm. Perhaps the title has another meaning...
In a brutally honest interview with IGN about Wii survival title Disaster: Day of Crisis (recapped in an IGN podcast), Nintendo president Reggie Fils-Aime expressed his concern over quality issues with the title, and all but confirmed it would not see a North American release unless sales improved dramatically in Europe.
Calling the voice work "laughable," Fils-Aime went on to say he did not believe the title was worth $50. Similar complaints about game quality have been raised elsewhere on the Internet, including inconsistent level design; and wonky controls schemes that jump from decent driving simulations to on-rails, Time Crisis-like levels with atrocious enemy AI.
For now, it would seem, our European cousins are serving as guinea pigs for this seemingly doomed title. A North American release seems even more doubtful today, but we'll keep you posted.

In related news, the European Union has announced it is breaking off diplomatic relations with the United States, citing a lack of respect on matters of video games.
"Europeans will not consent to being 'guinea pigs' for video games," a statement released by the EU said. "Zut alors! Gott in himmel! Blimey! Who do they think we are?"
"Look, Iraq, that was nothing compared to this," a spokesman added. "I mean, colossal foreign policy blunder, breaking down old alliances, basically giving the rest of the world the finger, that we can deal with. Hey, we've been giving each other the finger for centuries. But this...this just goes too far."
A White House spokesman responded by saying, "Were we still friends with those guys? I thought for sure we'd crossed them off the list already. We were so close to systematically alienating everyone. Now they did our job for us. Now we have to send them a thank-you."

In related news, this user will stop writing fake news articles due to criticism from another Gamepro.com user.
"I just can't go on," this user said in a prepared statement, which was stained with what appeared to be teardrops. "It's just not worth it when someone goes after you. I don't know. Maybe I'll go hang myself. What else will I do with my time?"
Not.

I guess that when Nintendo hired Reggie his DNA changed and he stopped watching naughty films, violent films, became a man of god, and a big fan of Barnie.
