BioShock 2 confirmed for Xbox 360, PS3, PC

In case there was ever any doubt, 2K Games has confirmed BioShock 2 for all high definition platforms.

"BioShock 2 is destined for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows," a 2K representative told GameSpot on Thursday, after the official teaser auspiciously arrived on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network the same day.

In March, Take-Two announced that BioShock 2 would release sometime between June and September of next year. It's unclear, however, if the sequel will launch simultaneously on all three platforms, but it's likely now that the first game has finally come to PS3.

no suprise there. I did however find it funny that PS3 owners thought that because they got an ending that 360 and PC owners didn't see, that they were the only ones getting the sequel to Bioshock. Personally I can't wait, I had a ton of fun playing the first Bioshock on my 360!

I think the sand pillars rising is symbolizing that a city (Bioshock City, forgot actual name) will rise from the ashes/sand.

good point.that would be a great idea.even if not, im sure the game will still be awesome.cant wait.

Great, completed this on 360 ages ago and now ive nearly completed it on ps3.
This will be a fantastic game and worth the wait.

f*ckin A+.....LOVE Bioshock 1 and 2 being badass is a given. its nice to know there are games out there you simply DONT have to worry about sucking.....Bioshock kicking ass is an ABSOLUTE. soon i may re-buy it on ps3, didn't they say the ps3 version was getting exclusive content in the next few months???.....i thought i read something about that
