Portal sequel plus original game on XLA next week for $15

More Portal coming to Xbox 360 next week

The expansion pack to the award winning first-person puzzle game is exclusive to Xbox 360 and arrives October 22 on Xbox Live Arcade at 5 AM EST.

"In addition to the original award winning first-person puzzle experience, Aperture Science is proud to provide 14 new challenge maps exclusive to Xbox Live Arcade," Microsoft said in a statement today. "Six advanced maps will also be provided to help guide you along the way."

Given the inclusion of the entire first game, not to mention the clever gameplay puzzles, the expansion looks to be a bargain at $15 (1200 Microsoft Points).

The first Portal was included in last year's Orange Box compilation and is often considered the best of the five bundled games.

Have to buy. Portal reinvented what I thought was possible about spacial manipulation in games.

XBOX 360 is a piece of crap. Red ringed for the 2nd time. I thought the newer models were safe. So what about the extended warranty. Who wants to keep sending their system off to be fixed? Thats game time being lost. Guess I'll be getting this when they put it on the PSN.

I wish there was a discount for people who own the Orange Box; I don't need the full game again, I just want the new maps. Ah well, nitpicking at a thoroughly awesome title.

Portal is a great game and its very innovative but its not the best game on the Orange Box. Episode 2 is awesome and Team Fortress 2 is easily one of the most addicting online games ever made and it gets a lot more play on PSN than Live. Every night theres a gorefest on PSN.
