Spider-Man launch trailer loves Beethoven, big boss battles

Activision released a moody Spider-Man: Web of Shadows trailer on Monday, featuring lots of slow motion and a ginormous boss confrontation.

Without spoiling the visual fun, the trailer builds over Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata while showing mid-air combat and a deteriorating superhero world. A confrontation with a Cloverfield-sized enemy also appears in the final scene.

As previously reported, Spider-Man: Web of Shadows hopes to marry swinging and combat, something other games in the series have isolated. Spidey's latest adventure arrives next week on Wii, Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Nintendo DS, PSP, and PS2.

i don't think the graphics look really good, the game seems interesting but the graphics look like any other multiplatformer

Looks pretty darn cool. Haven't heard a lot about this game for it launching next week.

WANT!!
Only concern is that Spidey is moodier than he should be. Cheer up, fella.

Yeah Spider-man isn't a dark character like Wolverine or the Punisher tend to be. Without the humor it just isn't our friendly neighborhood Spider-man...

Combat_Monkey

amazing that this game has flown under the radar so well. I know LBP and Dead space are this and next week but you'd think spidey would get some love to.

wow! I can see why spidey is depressed....ny is going to hell in a handbasket. This game looks promising....if it gets atleast 85% i'm getting it. Fans of video games should look out for this sleeper hit. Fanboys will be only looking for reviews to slap fightr over system superioty. but, then again, fanboys dont really play games, right?
