Punch-Out!! coming to Wii in 2009

Nintendo on Thursday announced an enhanced remake of Punch-Out!! for Wii, nearly 25 years since the release of the arcade classic.

As rumored, Nintendo today revived a fan favorite from the arcade and NES days at its Japanese press conference. Yes, Punch-Out!! is coming to Wii, sometime in 2009 to be exact. In the meantime, here are some screens to entice the senses and wax nostalgic until we learn more.

Now thats what im talkin about!!! Taking back again to the oldschool and the hardcore. Great choice on the franchise to revive Nintendo!!! Cant wait

Mike Tyson will be in a real Boxing game, a little gem called Fight Night 4. Wow this is the news wiiboys were all exicted about. Good thing I still own a NES and SNES.

I saw Tyson fight 6 times, . . I miss those days so much. He had every boxer in the world pissin in their pants.
