In terms of output, average review scores, and revenue, as ranked by Game Developer Magazine. And the winner might surprise you (no it won't).

It's Nintendo.
Thanks to unrelenting demand for both Wii and DS, the company maintained the top spot for a second consecutive year. Electronic Arts came in second, followed by Activision (now merged with Vivendi and Blizzard), Ubisoft, and Sony Computer Entertainment.
Surging Sega placed seventh on the list, Microsoft took the ninth spot, and Capcom dropped to 14. A struggling Midway brought up the rear at 20. (via Gamasutra)

Good for Nintendo. I am suprised that Sega came in 7th. I remember when I couldn't wait for a Sega game. Now their games are hit or miss. Lately its been more of a miss. Capcom will most likely rise on next years chart.

Midway use to publish awesome games...
I think the only game that's worth playing is Mortal Kombat, if they still publish MK
