BioShock for the PS3 goes gold, arrives October 21

Big Daddy strikes the PS3 when BioShock arrives for the console on October 21.
I'm finally here!
PlayStation 3 owners will finally get to venture into Rapture for the first time this October, as 2K Games announced today that BioShock will arrive for that console on October 21.
Internationally, the title will see a slightly earlier October 17 release.
PS3 owners who are unsure of the title are encouraged to download the free demo from the PlayStation Network starting October 2 (this Thursday).
The PS3 iteration of BioShock looks roughly the same as its Xbox 360 counterpart, but 2K has sought to distance the two titles with the inclusion of some PS3-only content.
For example, BioShock for the PS3 contains a Survivor difficulty mode, Trophy support and PS3-only DLC that will "be available for download shortly after launch," the release said. Pricing and availability for the DLC was not immediately available.

Been waiting a LONG time for this one! Can't wait to buy it. While a bunch of PS3 owners will be playing with their sackboys, I'll be killing Big Daddies and Little Girls.

Damn Bioshock and Dead Space are dropping the same day. I think I'm getting Bioshock first because It's already been established as a AAA. Dead Space on the other hand could be a hit or miss.

Bioshock is a special game. The ps3 players are getting a really original FPS. The architecture in the game and being under the sea creates a great mood.
Also, you can't hurt the little girls("little sisters") but you can rescue or harvest them.

Nice. I'll download that demo for sure to hold me over till it drops. Damn, a couple of days after that we get Fallout 3. Plus I gotta get NBA 2k9 & Guitar Hero: World Tour. Need more time & money!

I hear you bro, university is kicking up with tests and programming assignments, and now 4 games on my queue... ugh... i tried kidding myself into waiting, but as soon as i see another friend playing LBP or R2 im just gonna have to rush to gamestop. damn you Sony!! you are making me graduate late!
