Xbox 360 dashboard: 'New Xbox Experience coming in November'

A new Xbox 360 Dashboard ad surfaced today, all but confirming a November launch of the console's redesigned menu system.

The new dashboard ad, approved by Microsoft and sponsored by MTV Games and Harmonix, is primarily for Rock Band 2, but it also encourages gamers to "Check out the New Xbox Experience coming in November." Microsoft was not immediately available for confirmation when contacted by GamePro on Wednesday.
The "new Xbox experience" was first announced at E3 in July, bringing with it a streamlined interface, Mii-like user avatars, and an online party mode when playing casual games. Also forthcoming are Netflix movie rentals and the ability to install games onto the hard drive, obviating the need of a disc for playback.

I wonder how much the netflixx rental rate will be for hd movies? Especially new releases? It would be nice if the minority report like interface was true! Especially considering that they could use the camera which can detect movement.

Netflix will be cheap because microsoft knows how to attract rentals and buyers

I think the new xbox360 menu system is a lot simpler. It is targeted at casual game players.

I know im the minority here but im kinda excited about this. I think it looks pretty sweet. I have a PS3 now too but i think home seems kinda gay.
