LittleBigPlanet gets a release date

Release me.

Sony's big play at a wider gaming audience, LittleBigPlanet, now has a release date. The ambitious create-your-own side-scrolling adventure will arrive in Europe on October 24.

Sony Europe confirmed the news to gaming blog Kotaku on Tuesday, and the date puts the release of this eagerly awaited title at little over a month away.

Please note that this is a Sony Europe confirmation, and no North American release date was mentioned. If tradition holds, however, expect the U.S. version to drop shortly before its European cousin.

This is one of those games that I will wait until it goes down to the $19.99 Bargain Price. It seems like a cool concept, but just not something 30 year olds would want.

i'm 32 and i have this on preorder.

You know it. When the Wii came out Sony fantards slammed it for kiddy games. When the Xbox360 released Viva Pinata, the Sony Fantards slammed that game for being to kiddy.
Bit as soon as Sony released R chet and Clank and now Home, all of a sudden, kiddy games are the greatest things since sliced bread. LOL
