311...Sweet. I would rather have 1979 by Smashing Pumpkins, but then again that is the only song of theirs I am familiar with...sweet Sublime with Santeria. So many more songs that make this list pretty cool.

This is gonna be insane...Hopefully it will be like RB and offer tracks as time goes on.
What I'm most interested in finding out is if the RB Set or GH set will work with eachother (like the GH guitar worked with RB on the 360) so I can try out both games.

How could I have missed Dammit by Blink 182, Purple Haze, One Way Or Another by Blondie, Beat It by Michael Jackson, and Sweet Home Alabama by Lynryrd Skynyrd? So many great songs. This list is pure nectar.

I can't believe there will be 3 TOOL songs... I never thought they would appear on these games. And they actually designed their own venue ... more like a psychadelic background, but SAH-WEET!!!!

GH3 already offers downloadable tracks, and the Metallica tracks released today will work with world tour so that's a resounding yes.
Sony already confirmed that they are working on having all 3rd party music peripherials (sp?) compatible with all the music games (ex: GH guitar works with RB, singstar mic works with GH, etc). I don't know if 360 will have the same, but at least on the sony end it's supposed to happen.
This track list is pretty good. I was hoping for some more older stuff (EX: black sabbath, rolling stones) but I will be very pleased with the base setlist.
