Disaster: Day of Crisis dated for Europe, screens offer proof of existence

What was once a vaporware disaster now has official screens and a European release date. Here comes Disaster: Day of Crisis!

Disaster: Day of Crisis dated for Europe, screens offer proof of existence

Wow. It's like, a real screen shot!

Elusive end of the world adventure title Disaster: Day of Crisis was busy this week, as Nintendo Europe confirmed the title would arrive in Europe on October 24.

To further bolster the case that this on-again, off-again Nintendo-published title is indeed actually coming out, a slew of official screen shots were also released, including the image above. More than 70 images are available today at game site CVG.

That said, it is September, and very little is known about the game aside from what was announced way back in 2006 and the slow tinkle of details leaked by sources since then. Expect more info as we approach the October 24 release date. No word on when, or if, the title will see release in other territories.

I think you should change the headline to " What was once thought to be vaporware" Instead of calling it vaporware when it clearly exists.

after looking at the screenshot I think the tittle is like 2 years away from releasing lol...

Sounds like Nintendo is rushing the game out to meet the demand of hardcore gamers this year.. hopefully that's not the case.

this title will obviously hit us in 2009. thats for sure because project HAMMER has been officially canceled. Nintendo confirmed it themselves. no more HAMMER, just disaster. What a disaster.

I'm not really sure what to make of this game: NoA knows that we need some more traditional titles, so if they aren't bringing it out for the holidays, does this suggest that they are confident in their lineup, or does it reflect a lack of confidence in this title?
