GamePro highlights the new and notable game releases for the week of September 1, 2008. This week it's pretty much all about Mercenaries 2: World in Flames for PS3 and Xbox 360.
It's another bare bones week for game releases, but Mercenaries 2 and Facebreaker could be enough to tide you over to more bountiful game release weeks.

Mercenaries 2: World in Flames got mixed reviews but then again almost every game has a mixed review. Too Human either you like or you don't got the same treatment. Mercs 2 chief complaint is too many bugs , could have used some more time getting polished up. I like the first game and was looking forward to this one. Will wait till it goes to the bargin bin.

Microsoft announced a price drop of the Xbox 360 console in Japan, effective on September 11, 2008. The Xbox 360 Arcade will be priced lower than Wii in Japan, which is currently 25000 yen:
