EA's Dead Space moves up release date to October 24

EA's survival horror space shooter Dead Space is coming out sooner than advertised.
I can kill you earlier now. Pew pew!
Electronic Arts today announced that upcoming space-borne survival horror title Dead Space will be coming to store shelves earlier than advertised.
The previous release date, October 31, coincided with spooky holiday Halloween in the States. Perhaps it was too scary a coincidence however, as the new date is more than a week earlier, on October 21. The UK release will be October 24, and the PC version is still set to arrive on October 31.
"The decision to bring it to fans earlier was due to completing the game early," read a release from EA's UK offices.

It's a good move on their part, as Fallout 3 releases the next week if I'm not mistaken. I would expect Fallout 3's release to overwhelm Dead Space's somewhat, although they both look very promising.

Um...the Oct. 21st date has been posted on Gamefaqs and Joystiq for weeks now. Heck, I podcasted that the date was Oct. 21st at the start of August. This is either shockingly lame that GP is really that late, or someone listed Oct. 21st on accident only to be spot on right. Since I trust Gamefaqs and Joystiq...I dunno...

Oh, and since we're talking about release dates, GP: Please take note that Stalker Clear Sky does not come out on August 29th. It got pushed back to September 5th. Geeze...hire me for god sakes.

So, it got moved up on its release date. Well, I guess I need to get my Ass over to EBGames and pre-order this sucker. Kinda play like RE4 but in space thou, I'm not hating! It look pretty sick and it a very blood game! Can't Wait!

Anybody see the Today show with Michael Phelps interview. He recieved a copy of COD: World at War coutesy of EA 2 months before release date. Doubt he has time to play it anytime soon. Besides that, he will be the "ONLY" one online playing it.

Call me crazy, but I am much more stoked over this game then I am for games like Gears and Resistance. .
I like blood and guts, and this game fits the bill, perfectly
(i just hope it doesn't suck) lol
