The Sims 3 coming February 20, 2009 to a PC near you

The latest installment of the best-selling computer game of all-time arrives early next year.

"I caught you a delicious bass."

"The freedom of The Sims 3 will inspire you with endless creative possibilities and amuse you with unexpected moments of surprise and mischief," Electronic Arts promised in the official release from Wednesday. "The feature-set includes a new seamless, open neighborhood, new Create-a-Sim, new unique personality traits, new unlimited customization and new gameplay that's quick and rewarding."

Excluding earlier ancestors like SimCity, The Sims is the third best-selling franchise in video games, with more than 100 million copies sold. Only Mario and Pokemon have sold more games.

they still make sims games, wow, interesting. ......just kidding I know they make sims games, and I bet every ps3 owner can't wait for this, since according to the ps3 fanboys HOME will be the best thing since sliced bread. and if you like home you should love the sims.

You want it to fail but you can't hold the Sims down :P Wow, so excited. I didn't think it would be coming so early in 09...figured it would be more like next holiday season. Sweet!
