Fallout 3 available before next president is unveiled

In case you missed it, Bethesda has announced that post-apocalyptic anarchy will reign supreme on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC this October.

"I really needed to cross that bridge..."

And it's up to you to survive.

"Set more than 200 years following a nuclear war, Fallout 3 lets you create any kind of character you want and explore the open wastes of Washington, D.C. however you choose," Bethesda said in a press release on Wednesday. "Every minute is a fight for survival as you encounter Super Mutants, Ghouls, Raiders, and other dangers of the Wasteland."

The highly-anticipated action RPG arrives October 28, a week before the U.S. presidential election, and carries a suggested retail price of $59.
