Spore ready for September 7 release on PC, DS

EA and Maxis today announced that the highly-anticipated Spore has gone gold (or if you want to be cute about it, the splitting of cells has begun).
Will Wright's next sim game ready for release on September 7
"We are so excited to finally get Spore into the hands of fans and players," said Lucy Bradshaw, executive producer of Spore. "The most engaging stories are truly the ones people create themselves, and we can't wait to see how players not only craft and explore the Spore universe, but hear what stories they have to tell as a result."
For the uninitiated, Spore is the next game from legendary designer Will Wright, creator of the best selling PC game of all time, The Sims. In Spore, players are allowed to build their own personal universe by creating life, establishing tribes, building civilizations, and even space travel.
The full-featured game arrives on PC and Mac on September 7, with spin-off titles Spore Creatures for Nintendo DS and Spore Origins for mobile phones launching on the same day.

Bigfoot Found Dead Video: Press Conference Pending Sasquatch Body Picture by Jim Brogan Two Bigfoot hunters claim they have the body of the man-ape known as Bigfoot. First we had the Monster of Montauk, then el Chupacabra, and now Bigfoot is dead. DNA and photographic evidence of a Bigfoot will be the centerpiece of a press conference Friday in Palo Alto. The Sasquatch was found in the northern woods of Georgia according to a company that calls itself "Searching for Bigfoot, Inc". The group has scheduled a press conference at a hotel in Palo Alto, California Friday where they claim they will be able to provide DNA evidence as well as pictures of the creature. The press release announcing the event describes the hybrid "manimal". The group's website includes the full press release and a photo of the bounty stuffed into a freezer chest.I can wait till tomorrow!
