EA announced Wednesday that Crysis Warhead will arrive in Europe and the U.S. on September 12 and 16, respectively.
I fell pretty, oh so pretty...
The sequel to last year's ambitious hyper-real shooter Crysis will arrive on September 16, EA said in a press release Wednesday.
Called Crysis Warhead, the next installment in the series actually has two release dates. The first, Sept. 12, is for European PC owners. The second, Sept. 16, is when the title arrives on U.S. shores.
A pre-order option is available immediately at the Electronic Arts Store for $25. If you happen to have not played the original Crysis, there's a special discount of $10 if you order it and Warhead.
"Fans of Crysis are going to enjoy more of the open-ended gameplay, cutting-edge visuals and huge, epic battles from the first game, while also finally finding out what kind of havoc Psycho was wreaking on the other side of the island," said Cervat Yerli, president of developer Crytek.

Wow, they developed this game in no time! Didn't Crysis just come out last year?

They developed is fast because they used the same maps! It's just a different mix. Kind of a rip off if you think about it. I can't wait to play on my Tri Sli 280s and QX9770. Oh yeah, can't wait!

The first game was wicked. I just sold my two 8800gtx's for two 9800x2 running quad SLI. Can't wait to see if they improvd on the visuals which before were the best visual looking game out bar none

Goofball, I just sold my 9800gx2s on ebay. I had to get the 280s man, I couldn't resist maxed out everything but V-Sync. Even the 9800gx2's chug later on in the game, it's very annoying!

I've never owned a capable PC. It costs much more to game on computers than consoles.
