Bungie teases next Halo game at Edge Awards

Bungie dropped a quick hint about its upcoming Halo project during its long-distance acceptance video for the Edge Awards. Don't blink!

Microsoft may have blocked Bungie's bid to show off a new Halo project at E3 last month, but that didn't stop the developer from teasing that very project during a long distance acceptance speech at the Edge Awards.

Towards the end of the one-and-a-half minute video, a blue Spartan (Bungie's Luke Smith) addresses the audience and the "camera crew" with some stern instructions about the new project:

"Even though in Halo 3 you finished the fight, that doesn't necessarily mean that the ride's over," Smith said. "Wait a second, there is no way we're showing this yet."

From the looks of things and form buzz on the Internet, it seems the next Bungie project will be some sort of expansion pack. Xbox boss Don Mattric has already confirmed it has nothing to do with the upcoming Halo Wars or the in-limbo Halo Chronicles.

If it is just an expansion, why the big secret? I like Halo, but christ, you'd think they were about to release Elvis or something.........

Greggy stand up for yourself, don't take that from that Turd, Feruson. Anyways, not very excited for any Halo game after H3. Might have been a good game but needed to be great and end in a high note.
