World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King to arrive this holiday

Blizzard is sticking to their initial 2008 launch promise for WoW: Wrath of the Lich King. It's due out sometime between October and December.

Blizzard Entertainment confirmed Thursday that the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King expansion will launch "between October and December" of this year.
"We have said that it will be coming out this year," said Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime in a conference call. "I can tell you it's not coming in the July to September quarter."
Morhaime said that "testing is going very well" for the Lich King beta, and that 40% of their subscribers that left for Age of Conan couldn't quite kill their additions and returned to the WoW fold.
WoW--it's a powerful drug.
