Halo 3 returns as most-played Xbox 360 game

Master Chief is back on multiplayer top (for now).
Boom, headshot! Just like that, Halo 3 back on top
Microsoft this week announced the most-played games over Xbox Live for week of July 21, showing the return of Halo 3 as reigning champion.
Previously, Call of Duty 4 was the most-played game over Xbox Live and largely has been since both popular shooters launched in late 2007.
GTA IV, Gears of War, and Guitar Hero III rounded out the top five, said Xbox spokesman Major Nelson.
So which is better: Halo 3 or Call of Duty 4 (when it's all said and done)?

I was really suprised to see H3 back on top. i thought for sure Battlefield : BC would get up there but 2yrs later, H3 still up there. I don't know if thats a good thing or that LIVE is stale right now untill GoW2 shows up to play!

There might be some anti-halo people (especially on this site), but this just proves H3's mulitplayer funfactor and replayability. H3 has been out for how long now?
